How to prepare Steamed Tofu

with oyster sauce

You can’t go wrong with steamed tofu, what’s there not to like? Add in the delicious oyster sauce and you have a winner on your plate. The steamed tofu recipe is suitable for small groups or bigger gatherings!

STEP 1: Cut all ingredients in cubes

STEP 2: Fry the potato until golden brown and put aside.

STEP 3: Deep fry the tofu until golden, put aside.

STEP 4: Use the oil from tofu for frying the garlic and onion and stir until golden brown.

STEP 5: Add soy sauce, fish sauce, carrots, bell pepper, green chili, cucumber and seasoning.

STEP 6:  Add spring onion right before serving.

Ingredients for the steamed tofu recipe serve 4 people

This is what you will need

400 g Tofu

1 Bell pepper

3 Spring onion

1 Carrots

2 Potatoes


1 Red onion

1 tomato

4 pc. Green chili

1/2 Cucumber

Oyster Sauce:

2 tbsp Oyster sauce

2 tbsp Soy sauce

2 tbsp Oyster sauce

1 tbsp Fish sauce

1 tbsp sweet chili sauce
